Getting Ready for Fall

Hello again from the Ziarno's.  We're getting ready for fall....  Firstly we wanted to thank everyone for their support during the passing of our cherished Mary Ziarno who died at the grand age of 95 years old from a major stroke.  Mary was a very special person and it was heartbreaking to see her pass.  Mary had a great life and was a special spirit and is now where she belongs.  We really appreciate the warm thoughts from everyone.  Also we wanted to thank everyone for their support during the passing of Luka Lynn Ziarno.  She was in our hearts the best dog in the world.  Luka suffered from a major problem in her nerves and couldn't walk or move and it was tough to see her pass.  Thanks again for your support!

So we're really excited for fall to come and the leaves to start changing.  Grandma Obera had come out to see us during the month of June and we had a spectacular time while she was here.  The boys really enjoy when grandma is here because of the massive amount of spoiling they receive.  Also in June we went to visit my cousin's daughter Kayla for her high school graduation.  It was super fun to see everyone and we are really happy for her in her graduation.

So what's next?  Well..  We're really excited that Grandpa Dale and Grandma Gerry Gripp are coming to see us in mid September.  We haven't seen them in so long and it is going to be great to spend some time with them.  They don't get to see the boyz that much and I am sure the boyz are going to eat it up!!!

Lastly we wanted to send a congratulations out to our friends Ian and Heather McCain and Phil and Lissa Cherbaka and the birth of their new children!!!  Lots' of kids!!!  ...no sleep and lot's of poopie diapers!!

That's all for now...  God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops!
Love,
Cliff, Amanda, Noah and Simmie

New Entry - Good Times

Hello again!!!  We'll we're making it and life is going well.  It has
been awhile since we updated our site.  First of all our congrats go out
to Heather and Ian and Sid and Leigh on the births of their children.
There must be something in the water!
So what is the big news?  Noah is walking now!  Grandma came over from
Austin, TX and the second day she was here he took 3 steps!  2 days
later he was walking full time.  It was a really cool experience to see
him walk for the first time.  He also started using a straw which was
big deal.  But the biggest deal is that he is FINALLY potty trained!!!
Just kidding...  ;-)
Grandma and dad also did some sight seeing in downtown
DC at the Art Museum and we sneaked some pics in there as well.  They are
just random and I apologize on that.
Not much new on the end but sleepless nights.  Simeon is doing well and
gaining weight (just like his dad)(his mom is finally losing weight).  We
are REALLY looking forward to the day that Simeon sleeps through the night.
We remember the day Noah did like it was yesterday.
We have a trip planned to go to Michigan for a graduation/family get
together and it should be really fun.  Almost the whole family will be
there and it will be great to see everyone.  On a cool note our cousin's
Jill's husband (Joe) will be there as well.  He just came back from Iraq
(Semper Fi) and it is great he is back.
In addition - My old roommate from Quantico in the Marine Corps (Brian Chase) is back
in the states and we hope to see them soon.  It will be great to touch
base again and here about all of their experiences overseas.
So it's a short one this time..  Just too tired to type.  Have a great
summer!  We will put some new pics out there and will be posting them as
life happens so keep checking back!
Sincerely,
Cliff, Amanda, Noah and Sim

Our Baby Arrives

Simeon Zbigniew Ziarno arrives!!  4 lbs 11 oz, born April 9, 2008 11:24 AM.

Our story - On Friday April 4 2008 Mom's water breaks (Noah's B-day) and we think we are going to have to have a baby on the same day as Noah but luckily we were able to hold out until at least 34 weeks.  Matthew and Noah were both 35 weeks and we were pretty sure our new son would be early as well but of course NOT that early.  Mom luckily got her steroid shots for the baby a couple of days early in the anticipation of her water breaking.  Our new son was doing very well without mom's water but the risk of infection versus being birthed early was a chance we had to take even though mom was on heavy antibiotics.  So with the risks in mind we scheduled the c-section for week 34.

Our son is doing very, very well.  His APGAR score was a 9.9 which is almost perfect so we've been very blessed so far.  Mom is doing very well too and  we hope she will be released by April 13, 2008.  We currently do not know when Simeon will released yet but we hope within two weeks.  We appreciate all of the phone calls, e-mail, flower and cards that we have received.  Thank you to everyone!  We especially wanted to say thank you to our friend Margot who has been a monster help during the last week (and months ;-)).

Sincerely,
Cliff, Amanda, Noah, Simmie and Luka Lynn

Spring Is Here!

Hello everyone!  We finally made it to spring.  Happy Easter to you and congatulations to Sid, Leigh, Ian, Heather, Phil and Lissa on babies on the way.

Times have been busy here as I am sure they have been on your end.  We have been getting really anxious and a little overwhelmed with the new baby on the way.  Amanda just had her doctors appointment on Friday and she is 31.2 weeks along and the baby is measuring a couple of weeks ahead.  Seven weeks away seems really far away but the time goes by really fast.  We're now in the realm of trying to figure out what double stroller to buy and that has been a little bit of a struggle.

Noah is getting bigger and bigger every day.  He FINALLY has some more bottom teeth coming in.  He also discovered crawling a couple of weeks ago and it has been great chasing him all over the house.  I was sure that he was just going to walk and skip crawling but I was super wrong on that one.  He also just started standing up about a week ago.  So he is doing great and progressing well.  We put a couple of new pictures out on the site but hope to have a lot of new ones soon.

Mom is doing good.  The new baby is seems to be bigger than Noah was and kicks a lot o more so it will be interesting to see how the new babies personality is.  Noah is very calm and intraverted and we wonder if the new baby may be more active.  Only time will tell.....  Mom is hanging in there with the excess weight, tiredness and everything else very well.  Dad is hanging in there as well....

In conclusion, we are really looking forward to being outside with the nicer weather.  Spring is here!!!

Take care and God Bless!
Cliff, Amanda, Noah and Luka Lynn
